Reflect and revamp: effective strategies to improve your financial habits in 2025

Writer: Eleanor ColemanEleanor Coleman

Have you ever wondered how you overspent during the holidays, or if your priorities are aligned with your financial goals?

With the start of the year often prompting reflections on finances, I was invited onto RTHK’s Money Talk to discuss effective strategies for setting and achieving your money goals in 2025.

The new year is a perfect time to reflect on the habits and outcomes of the previous year, so start by taking a look at your statements and be frank - do you need Netflix, Prime and Disney subscriptions? How about the gym you joined last year-but haven’t been seen there since August?

I covered plenty of useful tips and practical advice that will help you take charge of your finances and make this year your strongest financial one yet. Thanks to Carolyn Wright for having me!
